The Float Test

Take a strand of clean shed hair. Drop it into a glass of water for 3-5 mins.

 

  • Low Porosity: Hair stays at the top of the glass
  • Medium Porosity: Hair floats in the middle of the glass
  • High Porosity: Hair lays at the bottle of the glass
